| A volunteer Director of Religious Education (DRE) oversees the
recruitment of catechists, classroom assistants, their formation, submission of budget,
selection and ordering of texts, development of the class schedule, registration or
enrollment, record keeping, communication and interaction with the Archdiocesan Office of
Religious Education, and continued personal formation.
