The Fundraising Committee’s goal is to generate funds to supplement parishioner pledges for the building of our new permanent church. The committee organizes two major fundraisers every year and works throughout the year to support other groups within the parish who are interested in hosting their own fundraisers. The core group of the committee consists of 3 to 6 people, but when the group is organizing certain events, the committee adds temporary members with expertise in specific areas to ensure the events are a success. This allows parishioners to be critical members without requiring a long-term commitment. It also allows the committee to pull from the ample creative resources within the parish on an as-needed basis.
