Mission Statement: The mission of the
religious education program is to provide
quality, faith-filled educational
opportunities to meet the spiritual
development of the parish.
Our parish religious education program
accomplishes the mission statement by
providing religious education classes for
all students from Pre-k through the 12th
grade, sacramental preparation for children
and adults, and the adult education
program.
The parish religious education program
presently is supported by one full-time
Director of Religious Education/Youth
Program Coordinator and twenty-eight
volunteer catechists that use their
God-given talents as teachers of our
Catholic Christian faith. All volunteers in
the religious education program are safe
environment qualified and dedicated to the
safety of our parish children.
The Director of Religious Education (DRE)
oversees the recruitment of catechists,
classroom assistants, and their formation.
The DRE is responsible for the submission
of the religious education program budget,
selection and ordering of texts, and
development of the class schedule. The DRE
ensures that all students are properly
registered and enrolled. The DRE is
responsible for record keeping,
communication and interaction with the
Archdiocesan Office of Religious Education,
and continued personal formation.
